How do I withdraw money from my account?

  • 12 innleggMedlem siden aug. 2025

Won a bit at a casino, but the withdraw button is grey. They're asking for verification documents, which I haven't sent yet. Is that why? Also, can the bank stop the transfer?

Yes, the grey button is because of the missing verification. They need ID and proof of address. You upload those in your account section, then wait 24, 48 hours for approval, and the button unlocks.

The withdrawal method has to match your deposit method. If you paid by card, it goes back to that card. If bank transfer, it goes to your registered account.

If you used a bonus, you need to wager it a certain number of times before withdrawing your own winnings. Check the wagering requirements in your profile.

A bank can only stop the transfer if they suspect fraud or money laundering. That's rare and might trigger a call or a hold of a few days.

Just so you know, for large amounts the bank might block the transfer for 24, 48 hours and call you to confirm. Don't split it into smaller sums to avoid this, it looks suspicious. Even if the casino allows it.

For limits, the AML threshold is 100,000 kr. Over that, the bank reports it but doesn't stop it. At 300,000 kr they might ask for proof of source. Over a million, they'll likely want the casino's license number and your loss history.

Had a 450k withdrawal once, and the bank asked for a written explanation of the source. The casino just gave me a standard PDF. Sent it in, and the money arrived the next day. You don't have to offer a reason, but if they ask, showing the casino statement is the fastest way.

The bank shouldn't be able to freeze a legitimate casino payment. If the casino withholds your money beyond the legal 72 hours for e-wallets or 5 working days for bank transfers, contact Lotteritilsynet with the casino's license number and a formal complaint. A chargeback via your bank is also possible if they refuse to pay.

The 2026 cash withdrawal rules you might have read about only apply to physical cash at bank counters, not online casino transfers. That 50,000 kr per day limit is moot for a casino payout, since it goes as a bank transfer. The casino itself has a monthly cap, usually 200,000 kr, but a licensed one is legally due to pay within 72 hours.

Thanks, that makes sense. I'll upload the documents and check the wagering requirements. Appreciate the heads-up on the bank call too.
